How do I enable two factor authentication to secure my account?
From the Settings screen:
- Click Security from the menu on the left of the screen.
- Navigate to the Two Factor Authentication area of the security settings.
- Click the Click to Enable button and follow the instructions on the screen.
How do I disable two factor authentication to secure my account?
From the Settings screen:
- Click Security from the menu on the left of the screen.
- Navigate to the Two Factor Authentication area of the security settings.
- Click the Click to Disable button and follow the instructions on the screen.
- A prompt will ask you to confirm whether you want to disable two factor authentication. Click Confirm.
How do I enable hardware key or biometric authentication to secure my account?
From the Settings screen:
- Click Security from the menu on the left of the screen.
- Navigate to the Hardware or Biometric authentication area of the security settings.
- Click the Add button and follow the instructions on the screen.
Note: For hardware key authentication you will need to have a supported hardware key. MinuteBox recommends a YubiKey from Yubico.
For biometric key authentication you will need to have supported hardware such as an Apple laptop with TouchID or a Windows computer with Windows Hello.
How do I remove a hardware key or biometric authentication to secure my account?
From the Settings screen:
- Click Security from the menu on the left of the screen.
- Navigate to the Hardware or Biometric authentication area of the security settings.
- Click the Remove button for the hardware or biometric key you want to remove.
Can I add more than one hardware or biometric key for authentication?
Yes. You can secure your account with multiple hardware or biometric keys for authentication.

- Click Security from the menu on the left of the screen.
- Navigate to the Hardware or Biometric authentication area of the security settings.
- Click the Add button and follow the instructions on the screen.
